The 9th annual UK Schools Computer Animation Competition

in partnership with The National Media Museum in Bradford

Animation16 closed for entries on Friday 18 March. We received almost 1,000 entries from 1,378 students from 130 schools across the UK. The judging is now complete, and… drumroll…

Calling all school/college students aged 7-19! Make a 1-minute animated film on your computer, enter our competition, and you could win great prizes!

Animations on the theme of keeping safe online can win prizes in a special eSafety category sponsored by BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.

Use Adobe Flash, Alice, 3D Studio Max, Maya, Blender, KoolMoves, Lightwave, Muvizu, Scratch, Serif DrawPlus, Synfig Studio or SWiSH Max4 (see details).

Schools can get Maya and Max for free in Autodesk’s Design The Future scheme!
